Parasite Control Lice Crabs

Fleas are small parasitic insects that feed on the blood of humans and animals. Though often associated with pets, they can infest homes and bite humans, causing discomfort and health issues. Their presence is not just a nuisance but a potential gateway to more serious problems.

Life Cycle of a Flea

Fleas go through four life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The full cycle can take as little as two weeks or as long as several months, depending on temperature and humidity. Adult fleas feed on blood and lay up to 50 eggs per day. These eggs fall off the host into the environment where they hatch into larvae. Larvae feed on organic debris before spinning cocoons and developing into adults.
