Mites are microscopic arthropods that can invade the human body and trigger intense itching, inflammation, and immune reactions. These tiny pests often go undetected until symptoms become chronic.


Mites reproduce by laying eggs on or under the skin, in hair follicles, or even in the respiratory tract. The life cycle includes egg, larva, nymph, and adult, and can be completed in as little as 10 to 14 days depending on the species. Infestations can persist if the cycle is not broken through consistent treatment.
