Parasites in Pets

All for One and One for All When It Comes to Parasite Cleansing.

Why the whole household should cleanse together: family, pets, and staff included...

Parasites do not just live in one person. They spread quietly between family members, pets, and anyone who shares a home. Doing a cleanse together as a household reduces the risk of reinfection and creates a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone.

Why Cleanse on a Full Moon?

During the full moon, parasites become more active. The natural rise in serotonin and drop in melatonin levels affects their behavior. They feed, move, and reproduce more during this time. Starting a cleanse just before the full moon helps the herbs work more effectively when parasites are most vulnerable.

Begin your cleanse 1 to 2 days before the full moon and continue for at least 5 to 7 days. Repeat monthly until symptoms clear or tests confirm success.

Foods to Avoid During a Cleanse:

No pork or raw fish

Avoid undercooked meats

Eliminate sugar, processed foods, and wheat

Avoid snacking between meals.

Foods to Include:

Warm, easy-to-digest meals like soups and stews

Garlic, turmeric, ginger, clove

Pumpkin seeds, coconut oil, and fresh herbs

Plenty of clean, filtered water

Herbal teas such as peppermint or chamomile

An example of a 4-Week Gentle Household Herbal Cleanse:

Include herbs, binders, and probiotics for full support. Adjust dosage based on age and weight.

Core Herbs (Tincture Form Preferred)

Clove

Black Walnut Hull

Support Items:

Binders: Activated charcoal or bentonite clay

Liver support: Milk thistle or dandelion tincture

Bowel support: Magnesium citrate or herbal teas

Probiotics: High quality, appropriate for age

Binder Dosage:

Take at least 1 hour away from herbs or meals.

Adults:

Activated charcoal or bentonite clay: 500 to 1000mg once daily

Drink a full glass of water with the binder and increase fluids through the day to prevent constipation.

Children (5 to 12 years old)

Activated charcoal: 250mg once daily.

Always increase water intake when using binders.

Pets:

Use food-grade diatomaceous earth

Start with 1/4 teaspoon per 10kg of body weight in food

Keep fresh water available

Consult a holistic vet for additional dosing advice.

Here’s a gentle herbal parasite protocol for dogs and cats, including dosages. Use for 7 to 10 days, then pause for 5 days. Repeat 2–3 cycles if needed. Always use food-grade herbs and introduce slowly:

1. Diatomaceous Earth (Food Grade Only):

Cats: ½ tsp daily mixed with wet food

Small dogs (<10 kg): 1 tsp daily

Medium dogs (10–25 kg): 2 tsp daily

Large dogs (>25 kg): 1 tbsp daily

Ensure plenty of fresh water is available.

2. Raw Pumpkin Seeds (Ground):

Cats: ¼ tsp per day

Small dogs: ½ tsp

Medium dogs: 1 tsp

Large dogs: up to 2 tsp

Rich in cucurbitacin, which paralyzes parasites.

3. Coconut Oil (Cold-pressed):

Cats: ¼ tsp daily

Dogs: ¼ tsp per 4.5 kg of body weight

Supports digestion and may have antiparasitic action.

4. Thyme (dried):

Cats & Small dogs: Tiny pinch daily in food

Medium–Large dogs: ⅛ to ¼ tsp

Mild antimicrobial and supports gut health.

5. Black Walnut (Green Hull Tincture, 1:2 or 1:3 strength):

Small dogs: 1 drop per 2.5 kg body weight.

Medium–Large dogs: up to 10–15 drops:

Not for cats. Use short-term only (max 10 days) and under guidance.

6. Clove (ground):

Dogs only: Small dogs: a pinch daily; Medium–Large: up to ⅛ tsp

Targets parasite eggs.

Avoid in cats.

Optional:

Slippery Elm Powder: ¼ tsp in food (any size) to soothe gut during cleanse.

Probiotic powder or plain kefir: Tiny amount daily for gut support post-cleanse.

Adults: Probiotic Guidelines: Replenish gut flora during and after the cleanse.

Adults;

10 to 30 billion CFU daily

Take 2 hours after herbs or at bedtime.

Children (5 to 12 years old)

5 to 10 billion CFU daily with or after meals.

Children under 5:

Use infant or toddler-specific probiotic blends.

Choose multi-strain formulas with Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Refrigerated or shelf-stable are both fine if from a trusted brand.

Daily Routine Example (Adult)

Morning: Tinctures before breakfast.

Midday: Nourishing meal with steamed vegetables.

Afternoon: Take binder with a full glass of water.

Evening: Herbal tea, light meal

Bedtime: Probiotic.

Include Everyone:

Involve children and staff with education and gentle products

Deworm pets alongside the family.

Wash linens, clothing, and hands often.

Make it a group effort in healing.

Healing Is Stronger Together

When one person cleanses, reinfection is likely. When the whole household does it together, you create a real shift in health. This is how you break the cycle. This is how you protect your future.
